FAQs
Are all of the adult dogs vaccinated?
Yes, all of our dogs are up to date with their vaccines and vet visits.
Will my puppy be potty trained?
When the puppies go home they will be in the process of being leash/potty trained. They will still be too young to ensure that they are trained, however they will be frequently worked with in hopes to make potty training at home go smoothly.
How old will my puppy be when I take them home?
Our plan is for the puppies to go home around week 8. This allows us to make sure your puppies are healthy and ready to go home to their new families. This time also allows the puppies to have their first vet visits and be up to date on vaccinations.
Will these puppies be good family dogs?
Bernedoodles are known for being gentle and even-tempered dogs which make them great family pets. Also during the 8 weeks your puppy is with us they will be played with and socialized daily, in hopes that they are happy and use to interaction with both adults and kids. We will treat your pups the way we hope our dogs would be cared for.
What is a Bernedoodle?
Bernedoodles were first introduced in 2003. A cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Standard Poodle. They were bred solely for companionship. This makes them idea pets for families of all ages. They are generally good around young children and very affectionate. Their life spans are 12-18 years. Height generally 23-29 inches. Weight averages 60-90 pounds (depending on the size of the parents). They are cold weather tolerant, love hiking, swimming, active lives. Cuddling on the couch and feeling like a lap dog too. Considered hypoallergenic, and have strong loyalty tendencies. They are very playful high energy puppies but can be highly trained since they come from very smart breeds. They do require regular grooming.
